ABOUT THE ROLE

Country Place Mortgage, a leading nationwide personal property, mortgage and commercial lender headquartered in Plano, TX, is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processing Supervisor to help grow our Processing Department. This in‑person role is in our Plano, TX office. As a Mortgage Loan Processing Supervisor, you will collaborate with Loan Originators, Loan Processors, Underwriting, Compliance team and other essential departments. The Mortgage Loan Processing Supervisor will be responsible for managing a group of Mortgage Loan Processors.

The Mortgage Loan Processing Supervisor will assist in contributing to the continuous improvement of processes with a focus on our borrowers and retail partners.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage and develop a team of Loan Processors and assist in driving their pipelines
  • Keep team current with changes of investor and agency guidelines
  • Generate pipeline reports to ensure key performance indicators are met
  • Drive team performance and accountability by monitoring progress and setting expectations
  • Ensures continuity of operations by performing processing functions during Processor absences
  • Provides additional operational support to meet demands and maintain service level agreements during periods of increased volume
  • Processing residential mortgages– FNMA, FHA and Conventional loans
  • Identify operational improvement opportunities and recommend solutions to management
  • Employ a strong sense of urgency and ownership
  • Ensure loans adhere to investor guidelines
  • Develop and train loan processors and lending associates
  • Analyze and evaluate all aspects of borrower credit, employment, income and asset profile ensuring that all bank, investor and regulatory standards are met prior to underwriting submission
  • Review title commitment, appraisal and validate required disclosures meet investor guidelines and standards
  • Review and clear all processing loan conditions
  • Comprehensive understanding of investor requirements relating to Manufactured Housing
  • Collaborate with the compliance team to maintain compliance policies in accordance with industry regulations
  • Ad hoc projects as requested
  • Take an active role by making recommendations for continuous process improvement
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy within a fast‑paced environment
  • Able to effectively problem solve complex issues with rural land surveys, plats, and taxes
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Meet and exceed objectives laid out by management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Required processing experience with a HUD direct endorser and Ginnie Mae mortgage‑backed issuer
  • BA/BS degree required in Marketing, Business, Accounting, Finance or Management
  • 3+ years of FHA, FNMA and Conventional loan processing experience
  • Experience with VA, Freddie, USDA a plus
