As a Director in TW Solutions, you will lead client engagements, serve as a trusted advisor to CFOs, Controllers, and finance leaders, and drive business development by identifying, cultivating, and closing new opportunities. You will work across a wide range of our service lines — helping clients optimize their finance functions, navigate complex accounting and reporting challenges, and execute transformation programs that create lasting organizational value.
This role is ideal for an entrepreneurial, client-first professional who brings deep operational finance expertise, a diverse industry background, and a genuine passion for the work. You will carry both an execution responsibility and a business development expectation.
Key Responsibilities Client Delivery & Advisory- Lead and manage client engagements across the full TW Solutions service portfolio — including functional process optimization, finance transformation, close process improvement, financial systems advisory (ERP/AI), financial reporting effectiveness, M&A support, internal controls/governance, and audit readiness.
- Serve as primary day-to-day client relationship owner; act as a trusted advisor to CFOs, Controllers, VPs of Finance, and PE sponsors.
- Deliver white-glove service: ensure approach, deliverables, and timelines are consistently accurate, timely, and value-additive.
- Lead M&A transaction support — including pre-transaction readiness, financial due diligence, acquisition integration, carve-outs, chart of accounts harmonization, and post-deal reporting alignment.
- Drive end-to-end process diagnostics and future-state workflow design across O2C, P2P, and R2R cycles; implement scalable month-end and forecasting processes.
- Oversee financial reporting effectiveness initiatives: standardized templates, cross-entity consistency, FP&A/accounting alignment, and data quality improvement.
- Lead financial systems engagements — ERP selection, implementation oversight, reporting architecture, workflow automation, and AI-enabled optimization.
- Support internal audit and governance engagements: control framework design and evaluation, risk assessment, SOX compliance, and audit committee advisory.
- Lead, mentor, and develop engagement teams; build a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain engagement tools, templates, and case studies that strengthen the TW Solutions platform.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities across PE-backed, mid-market, founder-led, and public company clients.
- Develop and own a robust pipeline of prospects and referral relationships; maintain disciplined follow-up and cadence.
- Partner with the Taylor White BD team to support bid processes, proposals, and pitch presentations that clearly communicate the TW Solutions value proposition.
- Cross-sell TW Solutions capabilities into existing Taylor White staffing and interim clients; identify expansion opportunities within active engagements.
