We are looking to fill a Controller role for our healthcare client in Dallas, TX.
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of total experience in minimum of 5 years experience in the healthcare industry and be a licensed CPA.
This role is mostly remote but candidates MUST Live in Dallas or Houston (NO EXCEPTIONS). You will go in office for an occasional meeting Once a quarter for a meeting.
This position pays 190K-200K+20% Bonus.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Prepare and oversee the annual budget, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals.
- Analyze expenditures, prepare variance reports, and provide monthly forecasts for leadership.
- Assist in managing the annual audit, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Review and approve all grant reports and bank account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies.
- Manage cash flow forecasting, investment recommendations, and financial risk management.
- Develop procedures and controls
Requirements:
- CPA certification required
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum 5 years experience in the healthcare industry (MUST)
- Experience managing financial audits
