Position Opening
Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (Analyst level) – 3-5 years experience required. Entry level role working with large uncleaned data that needs to be sorted and using the information to advise management. Any applications over 5 years would be considered too senior.
Industry: Logistics and Supply Chain
Business Model: 100% onsite
Compensation: $120,000–$125,000 + 15% bonus
Experience level required: 3-5 years
Responsibilities- Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures.
- Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance and work with respective leaders to develop, implement and track corrective actions needed to return the business to operating targets.
- Ad-hoc reporting and in-depth analysis to support Market Leads.
- Support the preparation of all monthly and quarterly financial reports and related presentations.
- Gather critical budget information and work with divisional stakeholders and participate in budget review sessions.
- Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
- Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision‑making purposes.
- Support due diligence and quality of earnings activities for mergers and acquisitions and other strategic partnerships.
- Partner and develop strong working relationships with various internal business unit heads to provide the financial analysis and forecasting to support the business.
- Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3-5 years’ experience in FP&A or transaction services advisory roles.
- Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills, high EQ.
- An individual with a proactive and highly responsive approach to problem solving.
- Outstanding analytic skills, a high degree of intellectual curiosity, and the ability to engage with senior leaders in addressing complex business issues and making recommendations from analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to roll‑up sleeves and work with team members in a hands‑on management capacity.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. Experience with Dashboards and/or BI a plus.
