Location: Plano, TX

The Controller owns the Accounting function and serves as the senior Accounting leader for the organization. This is a hands‑on operator role — you partner directly with the CEO and department heads, lead accounting and reporting, manage banking and tax relationships, and develop the finance team.

• Controls Accounting processes and team accountability.
• Leads monthly and annual financial close; owns financial statement preparation and review.
• Delivers monthly reporting packages to the executive team covering operating results, AR aging, and utilization.
• Manages AR, AP, and Purchasing; oversees invoicing, collections, commissions, and procurement.
• Owns cash flow management, rolling forecasts, and proactive communication of risks to leadership.
• Leads annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting with the executive team.
• Ensures regulatory and tax compliance; manages external CPA, banking, and compliance vendor relationships.
• Manages and develops the finance and accounting team, including an Accounting Manager and supporting staff.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including full finance function ownership in a mid‑market environment.
• Proven ability to operate strategically and hands‑on; comfortable setting direction and doing the work.
• Service-based business experience; IT services, managed services, or telecom background a plus.
• Advanced Excel proficiency; experience with ERP systems such as Sage Intacct, Connect Wise, or equivalent.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, integrity, and internal controls.
