Koch Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our CFO organization in Wichita, KS or Plano, TX. A successful candidate is highly motivated, self-driven, and has a passion for driving continuous improvement and transformation. They should have a strong understanding of accounting concepts, good critical and economic thinking, strong communication skills, and solid leadership skills. This role will partner with cross‑functional teams to support and enable sound decision‑making by executive leadership.

This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

What You Will Do
  • Own, transform and lead accounting activities by ensuring the team’s stewardship of the trial balance through analytics and quality close. Identify opportunities, bring your point of view, and implement waste elimination and transformation initiatives across processes to provide value for the organization.
  • Act as a trusted thought partner by proactively seeking and sharing knowledge, building relationships, working cross‑functionally and communicating results at a leadership level across the global finance organization, IT, and other capabilities. Develop and foster partnerships with other finance functions, leveraged capabilities, business units, and external auditors to prioritize and support profitable decision‑making and value creation, with a focus on integrity and long‑term stability.
  • Use tools such as Excel and Power BI to identify trends and provide insights to support decision‑making. Tailor presentations based on the audience, including executive leadership.
  • Lead financial reviews and continuous improvement efforts to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency. Participate in stand‑alone and consolidated audits.
  • Create a knowledge network for yourself and your team by seeking and sharing knowledge, building partnerships across the organization. Learn and quickly adapt to change, including new systems and processes.
  • Support team members through coaching and training to build financial acumen and economic thinking across your team and the organization.
  • Advance principle‑based management culture by embedding company guiding principles in financial processes and decision‑making.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Experience in an accounting or finance leadership role requiring a working knowledge of financial accounting principles, the general ledger, month‑end close, account reconciliation and analysis, and the purpose/application of internal financial controls.
  • Leadership experience developing the capabilities of others, leading transformation, driving company initiatives, project leadership, or similar.
  • Process and transformation focus that embraces and leads change, with experience standardizing and optimizing processes and work products.
  • Experience in Excel (spreadsheet creation/editing, pivot tables, graphs, data manipulation/analysis and formula creation).
  • Strong communication skills with experience presenting and tailoring messages to a variety of audiences.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Public audit experience, FSM, SAP or One Stream experience.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power

    BI or Tableau).
  • Relevant accounting certification (e.g., CPA).
  • Experience supporting strategic planning and decision‑making.
  • Experience in international accounting including FX.
  • Strong analytical, economic thinking, and critical reasoning skills, with the ability to challenge assumptions constructively.
  • Ability to work effectively managing multiple priorities.
