Commercial Banker - Startup Banking - Vice President

We are looking for a customer‑focused Commercial Banker to join our Startup Banking team and drive growth in the Innovation Economy. You will acquire new clients, provide banking services, and maintain profitable relationships across Commercial & Specialized Industries.

• Manage client portfolios, provide banking services, and build a brand within the target market that positions Startup Banking as a leading innovator.
• Develop new business by deepening relationships and delivering full‑service firm solutions, including credit and payments.
• Pursue diverse founders and innovators through referral networks and relationship development.
• Promote a culture of innovation while balancing risk management (KYC, credit, operational, and reputational).
• Stay current on industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and strategic partnerships.

• 5+ years of related experience.
• Strong understanding of Commercial Banking products and services.
• Excellent sales management and business‑development skills.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with ability to establish credibility with senior partners.
• Self‑directed, proactive, and creative with sound judgment and the ability to navigate ambiguity.

• Bachelor's degree and formal credit training preferred.
• Committed team player eager to contribute to a national team of Innovation Economy bankers.
