Senior Financial Analyst

One of Vaco's PE-backed industrial and commercial services clients is looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst. This role will be more focused on operational manufacturing.

• Significant exposure to manufacturing operations and business decision‑making
• Ability to improve reporting, forecasting, and financial processes
• Opportunity to become a key finance partner to the business – direct impact
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and monthly variance analysis processes
• Support month‑end close and financial reporting activities
• Budgeting, forecasting, long‑term strategic plans – inventory, production control, Cap Ex, shipping/receiving
• Revenue & margin analysis, headcount analysis, cost analysis
• Prepare variance analysis to explain variance vs. actual; walk through KPIs
• Work with existing models to analyze large data sets, generate insights and data‑driven decisions
• Produce reports – compile reports – utilize Excel and consolidate multiple systems into a single report
• Analyze labor, material, inventory, and operational cost drivers
• Develop executive reporting packages and KPI reporting
• Build financial models and support Cap Ex and investment decisions

• 3‑6+ years in finance – manufacturing/cost finance
• Bachelor's in finance or related; MBA preferred
• Displayed understanding of finance concepts
• Experience in a mid‑sized (300M+) company
• Industry: Manufacturing or tangential (inventory‑related)
• Systems:
  Intermediate/advanced Excel, Dynamics 365, Hyperion/Planful, or related systems
• Hands‑on, builder, problem‑solver personality
• Communicates and partners well with leaders across functions

Base pay of $100–115 K plus a 10% bonus. Eligible for discretionary bonuses and participation in medical, dental, vision benefits and a 401(k) retirement plan.
