Toyota Motor North America’s Corporate Accounting Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Analyst, Corporate Accounting.
The primary responsibility of this role is the administration of Blackline (90%) and to support the Corporate Accounting team with accounting entries, account reconciliations and financial reporting of all North American entities (10%).
Reporting to the Manager, Blackline, the person in this role will support the department's objective of timely financial close and accurate reporting of financial information.
What you’ll be doing- Assist with month end close as a Blackline administrator.
- Provide support, training and management reports to Blackline end users.
- Perform monthly, quarterly and annual SOX controls related to Blackline.
- Support ad-hoc Blackline projects.
- Validate coding of benefit cost transactions to ensure proper financial statement classification.
- Access benefit provider portal to retrieve billing/plan transactions for recording in SAP.
- Collaborate with HR Benefits and Risk Management on cost allocation per entity.
- Update desk procedures, relevant policies, SOX narratives and process flows.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years in private accounting or similar experience.
- Blackline experience as an end user.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- CPA license.
- Blackline experience as an administrator.
- Previous experience with SAP/BPC.
- Project management/system experience.
