Spring or Summer 2027 Tax Internship (Plano)

Koch Inc. is seeking both Spring and Summer 2027 Tax Interns who are excited about discovering their passions and potential while gaining real experience within our companies that creates value for our customers in our Plano, TX office.

Alongside your day‑to‑day role, the Koch Intern Program offers an opportunity to learn more about Koch, our people, Principle Based Management, and the local community you will be working in, all while growing your network. Through weekly learning sessions, location‑specific programming, and professional development, we aim to help every individual grow and learn how they can best contribute.

This 12‑week program will allow you to experience Life at Koch, as you start your career and go anywhere within our network of companies.

Our interns work alongside experienced tax professionals to solve real problems. In addition to being a contributor on their team, interns at Koch capabilities learn about our unique Principle Based Management culture and enjoy a variety of networking events to promote lasting career connections.

• Build relationships and understand the business of assigned entities in order to assess tax opportunities
• Attend trainings to gain basic tax knowledge and become familiar with tax software programs
• Work side by side with Koch tax professionals on the strategic analysis and reporting of business transactions
• Prepare corporate income tax returns to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with domestic and foreign tax law
• Apply concepts learned in the classroom
• Enhance communication, time management and analytical skills
• Attend first week onboarding and training in Wichita, KS (travel may be required for those that will be interning in a location outside of Wichita).
• Understand, develop, and apply Principle Based Management.

• Enrolled in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or Related Field
• An interest in corporate taxation planning
• Available to work a 40‑hour week Monday‑Friday during core business hours in the Spring or Summer 2027 semester
• Eligible for full‑time employment no later than Summer 2028
• Ability to relocate per program requirements
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship
• Completion of 2 core accounting courses and a basic understanding of fundamental financial accounting principles
• Experience with data analytics platforms, business process technology, and basic coding skills such as PowerBI, Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, and robotic process automation
• This role is not eligible for VISA Sponsorship.
