Position Purpose
The Post Closing/Shipping Specialist must believe in, practice, and initiate all Green Brick Partners values set forth in an acronym we call HOME. They must be Honest, Objective, Mature and Efficient in how they approach their role at Green Brick Partners.
Responsibilities- Review and verify closed loan files for completeness and accuracy.
- Prepare and deliver loan files to investors.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and investor guidelines.
- Resolve any post-closing issues or deficiencies.
- Maintain accurate records of post-closing activities.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
Utilizes discretion, judgment, and high-level analytical skills to interpret complex situations.
Education- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of post-closing procedures and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in post-closing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective communication skills.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mortgage post-closing.

Ability to stand and walk for 4 hours straight or up to a full 8-hour day; sit for extended periods; kneel and bend at the waist; walk up and down stairs; walk on unlevel terrain; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision ability required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and peripheral vision.
