Associate Financial Planner​/CFP Track

Guided Path Financial, a family‑established wealth management firm in Plano, is hiring an Associate Financial Planner/CFP Candidate Track team member.

We are looking for a CFP professional, CFP candidate, recent graduate, or high‑potential college student in financial planning, finance, business, or marketing who wants to build a long‑term career in wealth management.

This is a hands‑on growth role inside an established advisory firm. You will learn how a real financial planning practice operates, including client service, planning support, meeting preparation, follow‑up, operations, marketing, and eventually client‑facing advisory work.

This is not a cold‑calling sales role. We are looking for someone who is relational, detail‑oriented, coachable, professional, and excited about helping families make wise financial decisions.

• Supporting advisors with client meeting preparation and follow‑up
• Helping organize financial planning data, notes, and action items
• Assisting with client service requests and account paperwork
• Learning financial planning concepts, investment operations, and practice management
• Supporting marketing, client communication, and business development projects
• Growing into more planning and client‑facing responsibilities over time

• CFP professional, CFP candidate, or interested in pursuing CFP certification
• Finance, financial planning, business, accounting, economics, or marketing background
• Detail‑oriented and organized
• Comfortable learning financial planning software and CRM systems
• High character, high ownership, and eager to grow
• Interested in a long‑term career path in financial planning or wealth management

Flexible depending on candidate fit; part‑time, internship, or full‑time may be considered.

Compensation Range: $72,000 – $98,000, depending on experience, with substantial upside for the right long‑term fit as this role is designed to grow into a key advisory and leadership position within the firm.
