Growing manufacturing company looking for CFO w/ strong Cost experience

We're a profitable manufacturer in the North Dallas area. We're the size of company where the CFO knows every manager by name, walks the production floor, and sees the direct line between their decisions and the company's results. Revenue has grown steadily, the balance sheet is clean, and the order book is strong.

You will be a true operating CFO. You'll own the financials end to end, sit at the table for every major decision, and partner directly with a CEO who is building for the next decade, not managing decline. We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and innovative CFO for a manufacturing company. This individual will play a crucial role in the financial decision‑making that drives the company’s overall strategy. As a CFO, you will oversee all fiscal and fiduciary responsibilities for the organization, in conjunction with the Board of Directors and the senior executive team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic financial planning, budget management, and financial analysis, combined with a deep understanding of the manufacturing industry.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA or related advanced degree is highly preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a CFO role, specifically for a publicly traded manufacturing company.
• Proven experience with the Department of Defense (DoD) financial management systems.
• Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
• Excellent leadership, management, and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
• Working knowledge of short and long‑term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product‑line profitability analysis.
• Strong problem‑solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results‑orientation.
