Details

We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and innovative CFO for a manufacturing company. This individual will play a crucial role in the financial decision‑making that drives the company’s overall strategy. As a CFO, you will oversee all fiscal and fiduciary responsibilities for the organization, in conjunction with the Board of Directors and the senior executive team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic financial planning, budget management, and financial analysis, combined with a deep understanding of the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement company‑wide financial strategies and long‑term business plans.
  • Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, auditing, and internal control systems.
  • Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision‑making issues affecting the company.
  • Evaluate and advise on the impact of long‑range planning, introduction of new programs and strategies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with financial partners, stakeholders, and investors.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by researching existing and new legislation, consulting with outside advisors, and filing financial reports.
  • Oversee the DoD financial management system, ensuring compliance with regulations and effective management of resources.
  • Lead the financial planning and budgeting processes.
  • Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
  • Manage capital request and budgeting processes.
  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA or related advanced degree is highly preferred.
    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a CFO role, specifically for a publicly traded manufacturing company.
    • Proven experience with the Department of Defense (DoD) financial management systems.
    • Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
    • Excellent leadership, management, and communication skills.
    • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
    • Working knowledge of short and long‑term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product‑line profitability analysis.
    • Strong problem‑solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
    • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results‑orientation.
