Overview
As Vice President in Global Banking P&A, you will be instrumental in elevating client profitability data accuracy and integrity. You will deliver actionable insights, oversee month-end close, and drive collaboration across global teams—upholding rigorous standards of accuracy and data integrity while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
Job responsibilities- Lead and coordinate the month-end close process for client profitability
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in financial reconciliations and reporting
- Prepare, review, and present monthly financial results and variance analysis
- Present key performance indicators and profitability trends to senior management
- Develop and deliver analytics to support business decisions
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement
- Maintain high standards of data integrity and accuracy
- Demonstrate robust risk management and adherence to policies
- Foster a culture of accountability across the team
- Serve as a key point of contact for business partners and senior leadership
- Champion collaboration and teamwork across global teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or business finance
- Advanced understanding of month-end close processes, financial controls, and profitability analysis
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial systems
- Technical skills in Python, SQL, Databricks, and Alteryx
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
- Proven record of process improvements
- Experience delivering results in a fast-paced environment
- MBA or CPA
- Experience in a large financial institution
