Sr. Financial Consultant

Position Overview

Brown & Brown is seeking a Sr. Financial Consultant to join our growing team in Plano, TX. The role leads and oversees servicing of financial consulting needs for employee benefit clients, utilizing industry knowledge and expertise to retain clients by providing financial, industry trends, and strategic insights guiding clients through impactful benefit changes.

• Oversee monthly financial reports and develop reporting requirements and customizations.
• Support Benefit Consultants in preparing requests for meetings, including coverages & contracts.
• Participate in prospective client finalist presentations to represent the company's financial strategy.
• Perform demographic analysis, claims reviews, and other projects on prospective clients.
• Perform miscellaneous duties and projects, including involvement in presentations at client functions and meetings.
• Maintain high level of confidentiality and independent judgment.

• 3 to 5 years of related experience in financial consulting or related field.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking ability from industry experience.
• Ability to work independently and exercise judgment.
• Strong knowledge of and relationships with vendors.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (strong to expert).
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
