Salary: $80,000 - $105,000 per year
Job DetailsWe are looking for an experienced Sr. Tax Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax accounting and a keen eye for detail. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of tax laws and regulations, and the ability to effectively communicate complex tax information to a variety of stakeholders.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and file corporate state and local income tax returns
- Analyze and document tax positions in accordance with ASC 740
- Assist with the tax provision process
- Assist with tax planning and research projects, including the implementation of tax strategies to minimize tax liability
- Conduct reviews of tax-related accounts and leading the resolution of tax discrepancies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting
- Keep up-to-date with current tax practices and changes in tax law
- Assist in tax audits and responding to tax notices
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in tax accounting
- In-depth knowledge of state and local laws and regulations
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze financial data
