The City of Plano Public Works Department is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Asset Management Technician to join our team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring accurate and comprehensive data collection to support asset management. Responsibilities include responding to inquiries related to asset requests, tasks, and project data-both current and historical-while also managing the department's inventory of mobile tablets, performing software updates, and troubleshooting technical issues.

The ideal candidate will stay current with updates to our asset management and reporting system, Open Gov Asset Management, and will provide training and support to other Public Works divisions as needed. This position is based at the Parkway Service Center (4120 W. Plano Parkway) and offers flexible scheduling Monday through Friday between 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
