The Vendor Onboarding Specialist supports vendor onboarding for the Capital Projects/Redevelopment team by compiling and reviewing documentation to ensure compliance with licensing and insurance requirements. This role partners with Risk Management to resolve discrepancies, collaborates with project teams, and drives process improvements to enhance efficiency and execution. The position is based in the Plano, TX office and reports directly to the Invoice Manager, Capital Administration.
Key Responsibilities- Compile comprehensive vendor onboarding packages, including thorough reviews of licenses and insurance to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with Risk Management to address and resolve insurance discrepancies promptly and effectively.
- Foster collaboration and synergy among project team members to enhance productivity and achieve project objectives.
- Continuously assess and refine project processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness, contributing to ongoing improvement initiatives.
- Perform other projects and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Yardi/Payscan and Smartsheet preferred.
- Understanding of COI (Certificate of Insurance), Waivers and Endorsements.
- High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to relate and to get along with others.
- Ability to make decisions on minor issues in accordance with company policy.
- Demonstrate organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
