Salary: $22 - $27 per hour

Live Oak Pharmacy is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a vital member of our pharmacy team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our business.

Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in accurately dispensing prescription medications
  • Process and fill prescriptions efficiently and accurately
  • Perform pharmaceutical calculations as necessary
  • Maintain inventory levels and ensure proper storage of medications
  • Utilize Pioneer Rx software for prescription processing, adjudications, and billing
  • Handle adjudication issues and troubleshoot billing discrepancies
  • Collaborate effectively with pharmacists and other team members to provide excellent patient care
  • Stay up-to-date on pharmaceutical products, drug names, and brands
  • Adhere to all state and federal regulations governing pharmacy practices
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Has recent experience with compounding sterile and non sterile
Requirements
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician registered with the Texas Board of Pharmacy
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a sterile compounding and non sterile
  • Proficiency in Pioneer Rx software with at least 2 years of experience
  • Familiar with USP 795, USP 797 and USP 800
  • Excellent knowledge of pharmaceuticals, drug names, and brands
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Flexibility to work Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
