For more than 45 years, Plano Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center has been a trusted name in musculoskeletal care across North Texas. Our team is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced, high-performing Physician Assistant who’s motivated, curious, and ready to deepen their orthopedic skill set in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

This is a full-time PA position for someone who wants to be hands‑on in patient care—not just following workflows, but understanding the “why” behind clinical decisions. You’ll work side‑by‑side with experienced orthopedic surgeons and a supportive care team committed to excellent outcomes and a strong patient experience.

What You’ll Do
  • Assist physicians with diagnosis, treatment planning, and surgical procedures
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat orthopedic conditions under physician supervision
  • Perform pre‑op and post‑op assessments
  • Conduct joint injections, suturing, casting
    , and other in‑office procedures
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, rehab protocols, and preventive care
  • Document accurately in the EHR
  • Coordinate care with the team to support high‑quality outcomes
  • Provide follow‑up and maintenance care as indicated by training/experience (including injections, surgical assistance, ultrasounds, cast application/removal)
  • Communicate clearly with patients regarding health‑related questions
  • Manage patient concerns with the supervising physician per employer protocols

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an ARC‑PA accredited physician assistant program
  • Texas Medical Board (TMB) PA License (Required)
  • BLS certification
  • National Provider Identifier (NPI)
