The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, reviewing prescriptions, and providing guidance to patients on proper medication use. Additional duties include managing inventory, verifying medication dosages, and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. Collaboration with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes will also be required. This is a temporary, on-site role located in Plano, TX.
Qualifications- Proficiency in medication dispensing, reviewing prescriptions, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Strong communication skills to counsel patients on medication use and collaborate with healthcare providers.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing inventory and documentation accurately.
- Problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
- Valid pharmacist license in the state of Texas.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical software systems and tools is a plus.
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.
D.) degree or equivalent education and training. - Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is beneficial but not required.
