About UsStrides Therapy & Educational Services is a reputable and client-centred pediatric multidisciplinary practice with two locations within Anne Arundel County in Maryland. Our team consists of Speech-Language Pathologists, Speech-Language Pathology Assistants, Occupational Therapists and Special Education Teachers. We emphasize using evidence-based, personalized care. We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team and contribute to the well‑being and communication development of our clients.
Position OverviewAs a Speech-Language Pathologist in our private practice, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapeutic interventions to children with speech-language and/or feeding/swallowing disorders. Our ideal candidate is a passionate and knowledgeable team member who is looking to grow their clinical skills in a supportive and welcoming atmosphere. We believe in collaboration and work-life balance. Feeding, Bilingual (English/Spanish), and/or AAC experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities- Available to work after school hours: typical schedule includes 3 days 10‑7, two days 8‑5, one earlier slot on Friday; each day includes an hour lunch break.
- Complete formal evaluations, develop plans of care, conduct therapy sessions, write progress reports, discharge summaries, educate families and caregivers, communicate with families and multidisciplinary team members, and maintain a clean, sanitized workspace.
- Manage productivity ranging 64‑74% with consideration of your desired pay; CFYs scheduled up to 75% productivity.
- Strong interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, organized, self‑starter, compassionate, creative, confident.

- Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (if applicable).
- Educator Certificate (if applicable).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) from ASHA unless a CF.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in private practice or outpatient settings preferred.
- Knowledge of insurance billing and documentation practices is a plus.
- Dedication to providing culturally competent and client-centered care.
