Ops - Administrative - Patient Service Representative

Gateway Diagnostic Imaging is seeking a full-time Patient Service Representative, customer service-oriented professional for our medical front office position in Plano, TX.

Monday-Friday 11:30am-7pm and rotating weekends.

The Patient Service Representative will assist patients with check in, check out, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Schedule Patients for Diagnostic Exams and Procedures
• Assist with Authorization and Verifications
• Checking In / Out Patients
• Answering Multiple Phone Lines
• Provide Accurate and Complete Information to Billing Office
• Insurance Verification
• Ensure Accuracy of Patient Data Entered into the System
• Process Requests and Filing of Patient Records

Requirements:

• 1-4 Years Experience in Medical Office Setting or Hospital is highly preferred
• Experience with Insurance Authorizations and Verification
• Ability to Handle Heavy Patient Volume
• Strong Customer Service, Communication and Computer Skills
• Ability to Multi-Task
• Medical Terminology Knowledge
• Medical Assistant Certification is a plus
