We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our back office team in Plano. The role requires a professional who can provide excellent patient care and support to our medical staff. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

• Escort patients to and from exam rooms, physician offices, and treatment rooms as appropriate.
• Record patient data prior to each physician visit, including vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes.
• Obtain all necessary patient records as required by the physician prior to treatment or procedures.
• Prepare and stock exam/treatment rooms and order supplies as needed.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures as requested, requiring standing and taking notes while the doctor performs duties.
• Maintain all exam/treatment room disinfection protocols.
• Answer patient telephone calls and refer to physician or nurse/pharmacist as needed.
• Phone in prescriptions and make other patient calls as directed by physicians and RN.
• Inform physician of patient reschedules and no-shows.
• Perform other administrative duties such as typing, filing, faxing, chart preparation, and reception as requested by supervisor or physician.

• Certified Medical Assistant certification.
• Experience as a medical assistant, certified or non-certified.

Training will be provided for front office/back office duties and scheduling. The work environment supports professional growth and encourages a collaborative team atmosphere.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plano, TX.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Plano,TX.
