Job Description

We are hiring CNAs and Home Health Aides to work in our clients’ homes in the Plano/Allen areas, and we will keep your assignments close to you! Your starting pay will be based on your experience and client requirements.

Qualifications
  • Current CNA certification.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
  • Current CPR as required by client facility; other health and screening tests as required by specific facilities and/or regulatory agencies.
Responsibilities
  • Follows the client's plan of care as assigned.
  • Delivers personal care services to clients as assigned.
  • Help with mobility and transferring clients safely from bed to chair, etc.
  • Monitor client vitals, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and assist with medication reminders.
  • Provide companionship and engage in recreational activities with clients.
  • Report any changes in the client’s condition to the healthcare team or family.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided.
  • Complies with Care Builders at Home policies/procedures.
  • Maintains confidentiality in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
  • Communicates information effectively to appropriate personnel.
