SUMMARY

The Senior Director of Clinical Services is directly responsible to the Vice President of Clinical Services and works in partnership with other key Clinical, Technical, and Operational partners, including the OCMO. The Senior Director of Clinical Services is responsible for In-Center and Home Dialysis Services and Clinical Programs to provide clinical support for the Enterprise, in developing, implementing, and monitoring clinical practices, therapies, policy and procedures, and services to improve clinical and regulatory outcomes.

Oversees the regulatory compliance functions and, working with a team of Clinical Specialists, ensures suitable measures are taken to maintain facilities within established regulations. The Senior Director of Clinical Services takes a leadership role in developing and initiating projects as assigned by supervisor. He/she is required to travel frequently to USRC and managed facilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drives successful utilization of Enterprise Quality Programs for Incenter Dialysis Services and Home
  • Reviews internal data and prepares communications in accordance with company goals and priorities.
  • Reviews current literature to ensure alignment within clinical initiatives, policy and procedures and company goals; reviews current ESKD protocols and modifies as needed to align with current evidence-based recommendations; participates in developing presentations to disseminate this information to the CS, Ops Excellence, Education, and additional key stakeholders as identified.
  • Holds regular status meetings with defined work streams, CS, VP-Clinical Services, OCMO and other key stakeholders as needed.
  • Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.
  • Identifies Enterprise opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for resolution.
  • Develops and nurtures physician, corporate and field relationships.
  • Provides visibility and corporate communication to the centers on a regular basis
  • Responsible for driving a culture of safety, and exceptional customer service, through mission, vision and values, to all external and internal customers.
  • Develops and maintains effective relationships through effective and timely communication.
  • Takes initiative and action to respond, resolve and follow up or elevate quality issues in a timely manner.
