- Conduct monitoring activities and assist with internal audits
- Support investigations into potential compliance issues with thorough documentation and factual analysis
- Support and monitor HIPAA/HITECH compliance efforts
- Assist with policy management, risk assessments, and mitigation planning
- Coordinate and support training related to PHI, data security, and privacy practices
- Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to align compliance monitoring with patient safety and quality requirements
- Support reporting and tracking related to quality, safety, and regulatory readiness
- Help develop and deliver compliance training materials
- Serve as a point of contact for operational teams on compliance questions
- Clearly explain regulatory concepts in a practical, understandable way
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field (preferred)
- 2–3+ years of experience in healthcare compliance, ideally involving legal business entities
- Strong working knowledge of federal healthcare laws and regulatory bodies
- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Independent and self-directed, able to manage responsibilities without constant oversight
- Methodical and disciplined, preferring structured processes and clear policies
- Cautious and precise, especially when interpreting regulations
- Driven and responsive, with a natural sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
- Ethical and principled, guided by integrity and a strong moral compass
- Reliable and dependable, following through on commitments
- Full-time role
- May require extended hours or weekend work based on regulatory or operational needs.
