Phlebotomist

Phlebotomist – Plano, TX

Lab Corp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions. We are looking for a Phlebotomist to join our team in Plano, TX. The position requires a Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm schedule with rotating Saturday 8:00am–12:00pm shifts as needed.

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other required analyses.
• Enter patient data accurately and promptly into the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1or more years of phlebotomy experience working in a clinical or hospital environment.
• 6months or more experience assisting all patient groups (pediatric–geriatric).
• Current or prior Lab Corp experience is preferred.

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency, if work experience is not present.
• Must pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
