The RoleWe are seeking a compassionate Clinical Coordinator to join our team in Plano, TX. In this role, you will educate, assist, and provide individualized care to patients throughout their IVF and FET fertility treatment cycles. You will work closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure every patient receives thorough, well-coordinated care from start to finish.
What You’ll Do- Educate patients on IVF and FET procedures, testing, medication administration, and treatment plans.
- Coordinate required lab testing, obtain consent forms, and review results with patients.
- Schedule and track patient IVF and FET procedures; develop and maintain patient monitoring flow sheets and ensure thorough care documentation.
- Collaborate with physician, clinical, embryology, and billing staff to coordinate patient care and implement treatment cycle plans.
- Assist with PACU/OR procedures, medication management, administering injections, and collecting blood, urine, and tissue samples.
- Serve as a liaison between patients and physicians via phone, portal, and email, providing compassionate emotional support and promptly responding to patient emergencies.
- Maintain cleanliness, sterilize instruments, stock rooms, and prepare treatment areas for patient use.
- Participate in staff training for team members.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Active ACLS/BLS/CPR certification.
- Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts and holidays, sit/stand for extended periods, and travel to other locations as needed.
- Medical Assistant with active certification or licensure.
- Minimum two years of professional experience in a clinical setting, with previous fertility coordination and phlebotomy experience a plus.
- Working knowledge of IVF procedures, protocols, and fertility treatments.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage schedules, and maintain detailed records in a fast-paced environment.
Monday through Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm with a monthly weekend rotation.
