Physical Therapist-Neuro

Outpatient

Full Time

Salary range: $80,080.00 - $

Compensation depends upon candidate's years of experience

Seeking full-time PT to join large multi-disiciplinary team and treat primarily a neurologic population. Diagnoses to treat include, but are not limited to: stroke, Parkinsons Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, spinal cord injury, tramumatic brain injury, patients with amputations, brain tumors, etc. If caseload is low, candidate is expected to fill schedule with orthopedic patients. Ideal candidate is a self-starter, thrives working on a large team, and is interested in program and community development.

Responsibilities

* Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment

* Patient Case Load Average: 10-12 patients a day

* Timely and accurate documentation using TherapEBridge

* Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including medical notes and surgery reports

* Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately

* Promoting continuous quality improvement

* Instructing and counseling patients/families as needed

Qualifications

* Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.

* Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment or as required by state regulations.
