Regional Director

Child and Family Guidance Center is seeking an experienced Regional Director for the Plano and Mesquite clinics (on-site and office-based). The Regional Director is a management level position, responsible for overseeing two clinics in rural communities. This position has direct reports in the clinics.

• Provide leadership assuring quality, cost effective therapeutic and rehabilitation services are being delivered.
• Conduct marketing to increase community awareness of CFGC and educate the community and partners about the array of services provided through the agency.
• Serve as CFGC liaison to area committees and initiatives to promote visibility and access to services as needed.
• Provide site‑management of daily functions necessary for clinic productivity.
• Provide direct supervision for all assigned employees including LPHA’s, QMHP‑CS, MH interns, and front office personnel. Complete and ensure the following tasks, in each location, are completed timely, fully, and according to company policy:
• Billing Log(s) Submission/Auditing
• Clinical Documentation Auditing (internal/external)
• Tracking Authorizations for Services (all Payers)
• Completion of all reports, including authorization, missing notes, missing times, etc.
• Mileage/Expense Report Auditing
• Sign off on Medical Record Requests
• Provide leadership through individual meetings with each assigned employee (minimum of one meeting per month) and team meetings/training (minimum of one meeting per month, per clinic). Documentation of each meeting is due to the Director no later than one week following the meeting.
• Coordinate in‑service educational opportunities to meet contract and accreditation requirements, promoting clinical staff professional development. Assist in providing training and orientation for all job duties for new hires in clinical services.
• Perform duties without violating any ethical codes, state or federal codes or requirements.
• Maintain all case records (notes, treatment plans, etc.) in accordance with agency standards.
• Document with the understanding that all clinical notations are considered legal documents and can be used in the court of law. All documentation should be true and accurate and not falsified in any manner.
• Utilize client tracking system(s), Medi Soft, and other systems to increase productivity and assure accurate collection, reporting, and analysis of client services and billing transaction entries.
• Maintain professional certification and/or licensure, as applicable.
• Provide and maintain a valid driver’s license and copy of current auto liability insurance.
• Ensure reliable transportation to complete job responsibilities.
• Must have a working phone to provide services and be eligible for phone reimbursement.
• Other administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Mental Health Programs.

• Knowledge and experience of case management, skills training, and symptom management services to individuals with mental illness.
• Ability to assess individual needs, coordinate services, and communicate effectively with staff and clients alike.
• Knowledge of the social services system and ability to connect individuals and their families with appropriate services.
• Ability to write clearly and professionally in both outward and inward-facing communications.
• Ability to think clearly and logically when dealing with potentially dangerous and/or emotional situations.

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of related experience and/or mental health training is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver license and valid vehicle insurance.
• Experience working with individuals with mental illness and/or addiction issues is preferred.
• Preferred licensure: LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC‑S, or LMSW.

• Must be able to frequently (up to 90% of the time) sit, stand, walk, and climb stairs (if an elevator is unavailable).
• Must be able to frequently (up to 90% of the time) talk, listen, and speak clearly in person and via telephone.
• Must be able to push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 25 lbs.
