Clinical Analyst

Duration of project: 6 months

Location:

Dallas, TX Remote (Central Time Zone)

• Experience with healthcare/clinical terminologies and code-sets, including SNOMED CT™, LOINC, ICD9-10, CPT4/HCPCS, RxNorm, CVX, and other code systems.
• Working knowledge of relational databases/database structures; SQL experience desired.
• Understanding of data collected and used in electronic medical records, and experience navigating EMRs.
• Knowledge and experience with ambulatory and acute clinical workflows and clinical information systems.
• Experience with detailed policies and related data/exchange standards, including the ONC Interoperability Advisory Standard, U.S. Core Data for Interoperability initiative, and ONC Certification Rules.
• Experience with using/implementing HL7 standards and processes, including Clinical Document Architecture (CDA) and Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resource (FHIR).
• Experience with lab information systems (LIS) and implementing, testing, upgrading, and standard integrations between lab systems and EMRs.
• Specific experience with Path Net, including high competency in Path Net Gen Lab and some experience in other lab areas such as Path Net Micro, Path Net AP, and Path Net Blood Bank.
• Additional skills with Epic Beaker, Meditech Labs, Sunquest Labs, or Soft lab systems are desirable.

Degree in healthcare, clinical informatics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 3-4 years of experience.
