Mon: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Tues: 8:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Wed: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Thurs: 8:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Fri: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Pay:
Up to $22/HR B.O.E.

Corner Stone Medical is looking for a seasoned Medical Assistant with Athena EMR experience for a specialty clinic in Plano float to Frisco, TX.

• Scribes colonoscopies and EGD's.
• Performs exams and assists in small office procedures like hemorrhoid banding.
• Assists and accompanies patients from waiting room and prepares patients for examination.
• Interviews patients and records or inputs information to patients' medical record. Collects all medical data in order to facilitate the physician's ability to draw conclusions about the patient's needs. Ensure all charts and forms for the office visit are ready for the provider.
• Measures, collects and records patient's vital signs (i.e., pulse, blood pressure, weight, and height).
• Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients. Cleans rooms after visits, cleans and disinfects equipment, restocks supplies. Assists with inventory levels to ensure availability of necessary supplies, equipment and instruments, and records as necessary.

• Excellent attendance, grammar, spelling, and communication skills.
• Professionalism, great communication skills and computer skill.
• 2+ years in previous position.
• 2+ years of experience.
• EMR system – Athena.
• GI experience – preferred.
