Sign-On for Eligible New Hires Will Consider newly graduated Radiology Tech StudentsWORK LOCATION:
Texas Health Plano is located at 6200 W Parker Rd, Plano, TX 75093
WORK SCHEDULE:
FT, 40 Hours; 10 hour shifts, 6:30am-5:00pm, Monday
- Friday with rotating days off;
On call required (Must live within 30 minutes of Texas Health Plano)
- Newly built Second Hybrid Neuro room
- Comprehensive Stroke Certification
- Ability to cross train within Heart & Vascular
- Employer-sponsored specialty certification for Interventional Radiology available to enhance training and professional development
- Associate Degree Applied Science required OR
- Completion of accredited program in Cardiovascular Technology required Or
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 2 years of work experience in invasive cardiology required.
- 1 year of vascular or cardiac angiography preferred.
- ARRT
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire required And - GMRT
- General Medical Radiologic Technologist If ARRT Only Upon Hire preferred OR - RCIS-Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist-Obtain within 6 months of hire if graduated from Cardiovascular Accredited Program
- LMRT-Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist-If you have RCIS certification only
- BCLS
- Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required. - ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support-within 90 days of hire required
- Imaging Quality and Processing:
- Explains procedures to patient or guardian / family member if applicable prior to exam.
- Performs complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations.
- Assists radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique.
- Correctly sends and transfers images to PACS.
