It is a brand‑new 40‑bed inpatient rehabilitation facility opening in 2026, offering high‑quality, compassionate, evidence‑based care for a wide variety of adult and geriatric patients.
ScheduleFull Time
How You'll Contribute- Assumes responsibility for patient care overseen by Physical Therapist Assistants and therapy technologists, including staff orientation and supervisory duties in their absence.
- Assesses patients, identifies and initiates appropriate physical therapy interventions, and works cooperatively with interdisciplinary team members to maintain professional standards.
- Observes and evaluates treatment effectiveness, accomplishment of short‑ and long‑term goals, and recommends changes to physician as needed.
- Conducts appropriate assessments and reassessments, performs timely QI scoring, and documents all patient care activities.
- Assesses patient pain and intervenes to reduce it, making appropriate physician contact for interventions.
- Formulates and updates patient‑specific plans of care for physical therapy and reports progress and discharge barriers at patient team conferences.
- Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes safety and reduces medical error risk.
- Develops a teaching plan based on identified learning needs, evaluates effectiveness, and includes family in teaching as appropriate.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state where the hospital is located.
- Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.
- CPR/BLS certification.
