At our clinic, mentorship is a cornerstone of professional development. You will work alongside and be mentored by an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and Manual Therapy Fellow, gaining advanced orthopedic and manual therapy training to build a strong foundation for clinical excellence and long-term career growth.
The physical therapist is responsible for evaluating and treating patients, designing individualized care plans, monitoring progress, and ensuring safe and effective interventions. They educate patients on injury prevention, self-management, and wellness strategies, while fostering strong relationships that promote retention and referrals.
In addition to providing excellent clinical care, the physical therapist plays an important role in patient acquisition and retention by building relationships in the community.
The physical therapist must be both clinician and ambassador to:
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and referring providers to encourage engagement with our services.
- Conduct thorough evaluations, develop and document individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to patient needs and goals.
- Reassess and modify treatment plans based on patient progress, changing needs, or updated clinical findings.
- Educate patients and caregivers about home exercise programs, posture, ergonomics, and injury-prevention strategies.
- Report any problems to the clinic director or front office, depending on whether the issue is clinical or patient-related, for swift resolution.
- Complete all clinical and patient documentation by the end of that current business day.
- Perform initial evaluations, establish diagnoses, and create treatment plans in compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Deliver one‑on‑one patient care, ensuring high‑quality, individualized treatment.
- Conduct reassessments and maintain accurate, timely documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.
- Uphold Fit to Move’s policies in patient and staff interactions, demonstrating professionalism and service excellence at all times.
- Attend mandatory meetings, in‑services, and training as scheduled.
- Highest level of professionalism and integrity.
- Genuine passion for patient care and lifelong wellness.
- Strong clinical reasoning skills and commitment to evidence‑based practice.
- Personable, engaging, and able to build rapport quickly.

- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Texas.
- Current CPR/AED certification.
- Ability to work full‑time.
