Caregiver for Adult Male / Plano 75093 (IK)

Days/Times: Monday - Friday: 11AM - 1:30PM

Member needs hands‑on assistance with safe navigation and guidance due to temporary partial vision loss. Caregiver will provide orientation support around the home and during routine activities to help prevent trips/falls and reduce confusion in unfamiliar spaces. Ideal caregiver is patient, attentive, calm, and safety-focused
, with strong communication skills and the ability to give clear verbal cues. Experience assisting individuals with vision limitations is a plus.

Texas STAR+PLUS caregiver support may include:

• Safety supervision & navigation assistance throughout the home (guiding, verbal cueing, fall prevention)
• Personal care support as needed (grooming, hygiene assistance, dressing support)
• Light housekeeping (tidying, wiping surfaces, sweeping, laundry as needed)
• Meal preparation and basic kitchen clean‑up
• Errands / shopping assistance if requested (note:
  driving may be required if shopping/errands are part of the care plan)
• Companionship and supportive engagement during scheduled hours
• Observation & reporting of any safety concerns or changes to the agency per policy
