We are seeking a Diagnostic Technician to collaborate with clinic physicians in performing a variety of eye diagnostic tests, including OCT, Lenstar, ORB scan, Optos Fundus photos, EPIC, IMMERSION, HVF, and related procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Performing diagnostic testing with a solid understanding of test procedures and eye conditions
- Assisting with patient calls, emails, triage, RX refills, and chart inquiries
- Maintaining and sterilizing equipment and exam rooms
- Supporting technicians and scribes as needed
- Administering topical ophthalmic medications and understanding basic ocular pharmacology
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous healthcare or patient‑care experience preferred; ophthalmic experience is a plus but training is available
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Ability to learn diagnostic testing and EMR systems accurately
- Attention to detail, organization, dependability, and teamwork skills
- Bilingual skills are advantageous
