JOB SUMMARY
The Regional Manager of Physician Services is responsible for networking and expanding new market leads, while sustaining and developing existing relationships. This position requires engagement with physicians, contracted facility departments, support services, and patients. It’s critical to illustrate and present an understanding of our sleep services.
PRIMARY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide administrative support for VP of Business Development and Physician Services and Executive Team.
- Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner.
- Oversee client and hospital reporting metrics.
- Format information for internal and external communication – emails, follow up actions.
- Screen and direct phone calls. Distribute correspondence appropriately.
- Develop and update client contact lists to improve efficiency.
- Provides customer service to patients and SSA accounts.
- Self-directed project management.
- Support catered/scheduled lunches with clients.
- Communicate via Hospital EHR and navigate functions.
- Request and manage workflow status’ in centralized sleep chart to maintain pending documents and incomplete referrals.
- Communicate with patients and referring physician offices regarding medical records requests.
- Communicate with patients regarding status and updates when action is required.
- Create agendas and assist in managing calendars when executives are in town.
- Take minutes during Hospital meetings and track effectiveness/efficiencies.
- Update incorrect addresses and all other demographic information in centralized sleep chart and update SSA accounts, as necessary.
- Act as a liaison between the physician office, patient, home care company, and sleep center to ensure continuity of care.
- Support QA initiatives at assigned Sleep Centers.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Maintain and develop existing physician relationships.
- Network and expand market leads.
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise.
- Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal and external management and staff.
- The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
- Self-motivated to handle and/or delegate initiatives in leader’s absence.
- Organized with excellent time management.
- Willingness and ability to cold call physician offices.
- Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Prior administrative or healthcare experience required.
- Prior Marketing and/or Healthcare sales experience required.
- Must provide own transportation / vehicle.
