Job Description
Always Best Care Senior Services is looking for experienced, compassionate caregivers to join the care team for a married couple living with dementia in Plano, TX.
We are looking for multiple caregivers to help cover a consistent weekly schedule, making this a great opportunity for caregivers looking for steady hours without having to commit to every day of the week.
Schedule & Pay- $19.00 per hour
- 8:00 AM–6:00 PM shifts
- Sunday–Saturday availability
- Multiple days available—you do not have to work all 7 days!
You’ll be caring for a husband and wife who are both living with dementia. They require frequent supervision, reminders, assistance with daily activities, and a caregiver who can confidently maintain a structured and supportive environment.
The ideal caregiver will be patient, attentive, dependable, and experienced in working with clients who have dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.
Your Responsibilities- Providing companionship and supervision
- Assisting with activities of daily living and personal care
- Providing frequent reminders and gentle redirection
- Assisting with mobility and transfers as needed
- Providing transportation to appointments and other necessary outings
- Preparing or assisting with meals
- Completing light housekeeping and laundry
- Maintaining established routines for both clients
- Helping maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
- Communicating changes or concerns to the office team
- Experienced in dementia or Alzheimer’s care
- Patient, compassionate, and dependable
- Comfortable caring for two clients during the same shift
- Confident providing redirection and maintaining established routines
- Attentive and able to manage the needs of both clients
- Reliable and committed to their selected weekly schedule
- Have a valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and are comfortable transporting clients to appointments
