Lead-212 is currently at the heart of promising research projects in nuclear medicine to develop new treatments against cancer. The innovative approach, known as targeted alpha therapy (TAT), recognizes and destroys cancer cells while limiting the impact on nearby healthy cells.
The Equipment Technician will perform installation qualification, maintenance, repair, and project management of equipment and instrumentation in support of GMP manufacturing, GLP toxicity studies and QC testing operations. Support daily operations by performing periodic & daily calibration of equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily calibration check of all production & laboratory equipment.
- Maintain equipment and water systems in accordance with written procedures.
- Utilize a wide variety of tools in performing repairs and maintenance of equipment.
- Schedule and accompany onsite calibration, qualification, and repair of equipment.
- Perform internal calibration, qualification, and repairs.
- Send equipment for calibration or repair, as needed.
- Research/order new equipment and parts for repair of existing equipment.
- Execute Installation, Operation, and Performance Qualification protocols.
- Oversee facilities, utilities and equipment quality system elements.
- Utilize a wide variety of tools in performing repairs and maintenance of equipment.
- Create SOPs, qualification protocols, reports and other relevant documentation for new equipment.
- Develop and conduct training on the safe operation of equipment.
- Work with cross functional teams during the equipment review process as a subject matter expert.

All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity. Candidates who exceed minimum qualifications may be considered for a higher-level position.
Minimum Qualifications- High Diploma/GED, Bachelor’s degree in science related field
- Experience with a variety of analytical instruments, such as balances, pipets, IR, UV, HPLC, MS and CE.
- Must be able to work independently in a team-based setting and function in a rapidly changing environment while balancing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Must have excellent analytical & organization skills along with strong written & verbal communication skills.
- Must have a comprehensive understanding of cGMPs, proper documentation, and data integrity.
- Able to easily switch between multiple ongoing projects, adjusting priorities based on business needs.
