We're a growing independent pharmacy looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technician who can hit the ground running. If you know Pioneer Rx, can work a rejection queue without hand-holding, and take care of patients well, we'd like to talk.

• Enter new and refill prescriptions accurately in Pioneer Rx
• Adjudicate claims and work third-party rejections; DUR, refill-too-soon, prior authorization, NDC and quantity issues, and plan limitations
• Follow up with prescriber offices on authorizations, clarifications, and PA paperwork
• Assist patients at the counter and on the phone with refills, status updates, and insurance questions
• Fill, label, and prepare prescriptions for pharmacist verification
• Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and returns
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA
• Support daily workflow under the supervision of the pharmacist

• Active registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
• Proficiency in Pioneer Rx (required)
• Hands-on experience with prescription data entry and third-party claim rejections
• Strong customer service and phone skills
• Open availability:
  Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Saturdays 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Prior independent or retail pharmacy experience

• Starting pay: $18.00 per hour
