The Clinical Research Coordinator 1 (Cardiovascular) assists Principal Investigators (PIs) with clinical trials, encompassing all trial phases from pre-study to closure, while adhering to federal, state, and institutional guidelines. This clinical research coordinator role is responsible for coordinating complex studies and seeking guidance from senior roles as necessary.

• Implements various protocols for assigned research projects with appropriate departments.
• Interacts with PIs, clinical managers, and supervisors.
• Creates, facilitates, or executes various project workflows based on clinical trial protocol needs.
• Ensures appropriate billing mechanisms are in place for research charges.
• Performs research subject informed consent and entry into appropriate research studies.
• Partners and coordinates with regulatory compliance , preparing IRB materials and submitting IND Safety forms.
• Conducts and coordinates study-monitoring visits, audits, and quality checks.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
• Proven written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage time-sensitive projects to meet deadlines.
• Exceptional ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
