Shift supervisor, Hospitality ​/ Hotel ​/ Catering

We are hiring immediately for a full‑time SHIFT SUPERVISOR position.

Location:

Capital One – 8036 Dominion Parkway, Plano, TX 75024. Online applications accepted only.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 10:30 am to 7:00 pm (full time). More details upon interview.

Requirements:
Prior supervisory and conference center event setup experience is required.

Internal employee referral bonus available.

Fixed pay rate: $23.00 per hour.

Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure are maintained.

• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Oversee set‑up operations of a corporate conference center.
• Monitor all conference spaces regarding scheduling, maintenance, and upkeep.
• Partner with event planners and audio‑visual team to ensure all operational needs are met.
• Evaluate employee performance, reward high performers and discipline those who fail to meet reasonable standards.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety.
• Act as contact person for employees regarding complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
