Alkami is looking to add an HR Operations Specialist based in our Plano, TX location and working in a hybrid on-site/remote workplace, you will join a highly collaborative team that executes our People Strategy, delivers HR services to our organization and supports the planning of our function. This is a developmental role for someone looking to grow their career within HR.
This role also has a strong partnership with the HR Business Partners, and together they support various client groups within the company.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
* Work directly with the HR Business Partner team in support of the business to drive strategy, foster leadership success and support all employees for a positive employee experience.
* Serve as the main point of contact for all administrative tasks across HR initiatives.
* Find ways to improve HR processes by adopting intelligent automation to avoid stagnation and lost momentum.
* Document employee lifecycle processes to drive efficiencies within the organization and to improve HRIS configurations.
* Provide ad hoc project and reporting support.
* Lead and/or support other special projects as needed (employee lifecycle programs such as onboarding, performance management, culture, contractors, M&A, etc.)
* Assist HR Business Partner team with key annual planning work such as talent planning and performance calibrations.
* Support talent management, culture and retention initiatives.
* Maintain and ensure full compliance of digital employment files, as well as overall record keeping.
* Assist with maintenance of employee handbooks and policies.
* Coordinate offboarding tasks from systems access to separation paperwork.
* Assist with company training coordination such as scheduling and communication.
* Provide ad hoc project support for the HR Business Partners.
* Act as a back-up for the front desk staff and HR/Recruiting coordinators and supporting facilities team with administrative tasks.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications:
* 2+ years of experience in Human Resources
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience
* You have a high technical aptitude for HR systems and ability to automate processes and other routine tasks using basic system coding and scripts.
* You have a strong understanding and ability to leverage Google and Excel spreadsheets, multiple data sources, charts, formulas (such as VLOOKUPS), pivot tables, reporting structure and macros.
* You have strong written skills and are confident in your ability to communicate clearly with different customers and audiences
* You have big aspirations about growing your career and are open to learning, adapting and trying new things out to get there
* You have a strong understanding with HR policies, practices, and processes
* You value collaborative problem-solving and contributing to a positive employee culture/environment where everyone can be their best
* You understand the importance of data integrity and confidentiality when it comes to employee data and information
