Hum Cap is hiring multiple HR Generalists and HR Coordinators to support our growing client base. These roles are ideal for HR professionals with 2–5 years of experience who enjoy variety, client interaction, and the opportunity to work across multiple organizations and industries. In this role, you will serve as an extension of Hum Cap’s clients, providing hands‑on HR support across the employee lifecycle.
You’ll partner closely with clients, internal Hum Cap leadership, and fellow consultants to deliver high‑quality, practical HR solutions that help businesses operate effectively and compliantly.
Client‑Facing HR Support
- Serve as day‑to‑day HR support for multiple client organizations
- Build trusted relationships with client leaders and employees
- Respond to HR questions with professionalism, accuracy, and discretion
- Represent Hum Cap as a knowledgeable and reliable HR partner
- Support recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding
- Assist with job postings, interview coordination, and hiring processes
- Ensure smooth onboarding experiences and proper employee documentation
- Coordinate employee transitions, including terminations and exits
- Maintain accurate employee records across HRIS platforms
- Support compliance efforts related to employment practices and documentation
- Assist with audits, reporting, and HR data management
- Help clients follow HR best practices and consistent processes
- Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee questions
- Coordinate payroll inputs and resolve discrepancies with internal teams or vendors
- Support communication between clients and HR service providers
- Support HR initiatives and special projects for clients
- Help document processes and improve HR workflows
- Track tasks and deliverables across multiple clients and priorities
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in HR, including generalist, coordinator, or similar roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities
- Working knowledge of HR processes across the employee lifecycle
- Comfort using HRIS systems, Excel, and task‑tracking tools
- Strong communication skills and a professional, client‑focused approach
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Experience in supporting small to midsize businesses or companies
- Experience supporting multiple managers, teams, or organizations
- Exposure to HR consulting, PEO, or outsourced HR environments
- Interest in continued growth within HR consulting or generalist work
- SHRM or PHR certification (or interest in pursuing certification)
- Ability to work in a face paced environment
- Salary range: $60,000 – $80,000, based on experience and role level
- Location: Plano, TX
