Overview

Hybrid position - MUST be local to Dallas/Ft. Worth. Responsible for contributing to the mission and vision of the Company and Department as a Human Resources Generalist. Provides quality initial support services to all Company employees with a high degree of customer satisfaction, expertise and timeliness. This includes evaluating and analyzing the employee request/concern, quickly interpreting the situation, determining the appropriate resolution and or escalation, and communicating the resolution and escalation to the customer, consistent with our mission and vision.

Responsibilities
  • Provides initial support and additional follow-up to Company employees for all HR related inquiries. Support areas include, but are not limited to:
    Benefits, Recruitment, Compensation, HRIS, Worker’s Compensation, Training, etc.
  • Responsible for onboarding new hires by coordinating, processing new hire paperwork and entering employment data into the HRIS system.
  • Verifies I‑9 documentation and maintains current documentation in employee files.
  • Responsible for processing Verification of Employment (VOE).
  • Responds in a timely manner to all emails and voice‑mail messages requiring action.
  • Responsible for managing the central email communication tool for the HR department.
  • Maintains and conducts routine audits of employee files.
  • Maintains employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources information system software.
  • Maintains the confidentiality of all activity, including verbal and written communication, of any department matters.
  • Interprets and explains human resources policies and procedures to employees.
  • Processes development assistance as needed.
  • Provides excellent customer service to employees while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Acts as the customer advocate for HR by representing the services in a positive manner, proactively escalating issues on the customer’s behalf to ensure the timeliest service.
  • Files papers and documents into appropriate employee files as needed.
  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work a variable schedule as necessary.
  • Assists Director of HR & HR Managers and others on the HR team with various research projects and/or special projects.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Must conduct oneself in an ethical, legal, and responsible manner at all times.
  • Must adhere to the policies, principles, and guidance within the Employee Handbook and Code of Business Conduct.

  • Strong verbal & written communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with a diverse population.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and manage a variety of variables in situations and with problems where only limited information or standardization exists.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend in English: instructions, correspondence, memos and reports.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, productive work environment.
  • Must be a self‑starter, independent, and strong organizational skills.
Education / Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; preferably with Human Resources or Business Administration or the equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of general Human Resources experience required.
Computer Skills
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
  • Experience utilizing Human Resource Information Systems.
  • Basic Internet navigation skills.
