Interim Manager Of Employee Relations (Contract Position)

We are looking for an experienced interim Manager of Employee Relations to join the team in Plano, Texas on a contract basis. In this role, you will provide hands-on HR guidance for a large operational workforce, supporting leaders and employees with employee relations, performance matters, and workplace concerns. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is detail oriented, communicates with empathy, works well across fast-moving teams, and can deliver consistent support in a high-volume environment.

This is a 6-8 week contract position 100% remote.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the main HR contact for managers and employees, offering practical guidance on day-to-day employee relations matters.

• Support and lead sensitive workplace discussions with professionalism, sound judgment, and a consistent approach.

• Coach frontline leaders on performance management practices, including feedback conversations, documentation, and disciplinary steps.

• Conduct thorough reviews of workplace concerns and policy-related issues, documenting findings and recommended actions appropriately.

• Manage a steady flow of HR cases through a ticket-based support process while maintaining responsiveness and quality.

• Work with leaders across different regions and time zones to promote aligned HR practices and decision-making.

• Apply company policies and employment guidelines accurately when advising on employee situations and resolutions.

• Keep organized records of investigations, corrective actions, and employee relations activity within HR systems.

• Use tools such as Excel and HR platforms to monitor cases, analyze information, and support reporting needs.

• Partner closely with the broader HR team to resolve issues efficiently and provide a seamless employee experience.
