IT Project Manager
Join Cosmo Prof Beauty as our new IT Audit Manager.
The IT Audit Manager will manage the company’s IT‑related efforts for the Sarbanes‑Oxley Section 404 program, assist in the development and execution of the annual IT audit plan, develop, deploy, and maintain IT policies and procedures, and lead other special projects such as system implementations and PCI assessments.
OverviewWork is conducted in conformance with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards.
Responsibilities- 60% Lead the planning and execution of the annual IT SOX program for domestic and international business units. Review process and testing documentation performed by staff, perform testing, and evaluate IT deficiencies. Coordinate with management to optimize cloud environment compliance activities and review new systems for Sarbanes‑Oxley controls.
- 15% Manage and train multiple staff in the execution of the IT audit and compliance activities. Assign work, monitor progress, and provide coaching and feedback. Prepare and deliver formal quarterly and annual reviews, and assist staff with developing training plans.
- 15% Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of IT audits within established time budgets and deadlines, ensuring all activities conform to departmental procedures. Supervise audit staff, identify improvement areas, and prepare executive summaries with findings and recommendations.
- 10% Assist in the execution of Payment Card Industry (PCI) activities, including scoping, evidence collection and review, and remediation coordination.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- CISA or CISSP certification preferred.
- 5+ years of IT audit experience or a combination of IT operational and audit experience.
- 2+ years of Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) experience required.
- 2+ years of leading audit engagements with other team members required.
- 2+ years of management experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of IT processes and technologies.
- Retail experience preferred.
- Continuous control monitoring experience preferred.
- PCI experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to develop and coach a team of senior and staff auditors.
- Strong project management skills.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills to solve problems.
- Takes initiative to improve team processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
Physical Requirements
Work is sedentary and may involve occasional walking, standing, bending, and carrying light items. The environment is a typical office or retail setting with normal safety precautions.
