Lead Systems Engineer will be responsible for planning and designing Customer's Experience application infrastructure and operationalizing the support including DevOPS and Prod OPS.
Description of activities:
- Design and build Azure Infrastructure as Service and Azure Dev Ops Administration and Configuration management.
- Configure and manage messaging with Confluent Cloud, Kafka, AND ISBUS.
- Develop Pipeline and other DevOPS Automation – using Terraform, Jenkins
- Develop and Manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
- Monitor performance, and resource utilization using Prometheus, Kibana, Elastic Search
- Manage Data and ETL using Relational, and No
SQL database technologies Oracle, Postgres, Mongo DB, Cassandra, Couchbase, Snowflake, and Databricks - Design and develop dashboards using Power
BI.
Qualifications
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including
- Education:
BE/BTech or MS or equivalent experience is required. - Minimum 5 years of Systems Engineering experience or experience in a related field (leading technical team or technical solutions)
- 5+ years of experience working in Engineering or T3/expert Support for application or infra.
- 5+ years of experience in Application and infrastructure troubleshooting with Kubernetes, Redis, Kafka, Ngnix, Elk, and Dynatrace.
- 3+ years of experience working in core technologies Kubernetes, Kafka, and Redis.
- 3+ years of in-depth experience with Hybrid environments in a high-traffic production setting.
- 2+ years in-depth working experience with Astra, Service Now
- 2+ years in Hybrid environments in a high-traffic production setting.
- 2+ years in AI frameworks in a high-traffic production setting.
- 2+ years’ experience in application migrations to cloud using native patterns.
- Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
- Expertise in the Azure, AWS and/or other 3rd party provided cloud and integration with on-premises and cloud-to-cloud integrations
- Experience in Cloud Engineering including Azure and AWS
- Experience in Sys Ops including IaaS, PaaS or SaaS services
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Experience with data engineering and bigdata platforms
- Experience with VNET integration and security groups
- Knowledge of access key management and Azure AD/IAM policy provisioning
- Azure or AWS Cloud Architect or Cloud Security Certification
- Knowledge of end-to-end agile software development using technologies including Github, Gitlab, Azure Dev Ops, REST APIs, or Docker
- A deep understanding of Java, JEE Application Servers and Technologies, networks and the underlying technologies used to build them
- Expertise in Audit, Compliance, and SOX.
- Fluency in architecture and design across all systems
- Knowledge in at least one area of technical architecture
- Strategic thinking and passion for business strategy and business processes
- Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands.
- Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching
